Sports Shoes

Sports shoes are ordinarily made from man made materials. The upper is generally a synthetic leather and polyester mesh, the outer (or sole) is generally a tough rubber mix material designed mainly for grip. The most important part of the sports shoe is the mid-sole and for essentially all of the mid to top range sports shoes this is made from a foam material and is a mix of rubber and vinyl.

Foot type alone is not indicative of shoe type. In other words, just having a ‘high arched foot’ does not mean that you necessarily need a neutral shoe. How your foot actually functions is what dictates what type of shoe you need.

The technology within sports shoes changes at such a rapid rate that listing examples of each style would be out of date within weeks.

It is important to seek advice regarding your specific requirements when choosing sports footwear to ensure the right choice for your foot type and activity.
